Our Story
One of Houston's premier cosmetic dentists, Dr. Zeb F. Poindexter III proudly continues his father's legacy. In 1956, Dr. Zeb F. Poindexter, Jr., became the first African-American to graduate from dental school in Texas (UT Dental). Shortly after, he started his own practice, becoming one of Houston, Texas' premier black dentists. Today Poindexter Dental, Inc. continues to be one of Houston's leading oral health care providers, offering services including but not limited to cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, laser treatment, and orthodontics. Like his father, Dr. Zeb F. Poindexter III, is also a graduate of the University of Texas Dental School. He is distinguished as one of Houston’s Health Care Heroes, certified in a multitude of dental specialties, and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Poindexter Dental Inc. has been providing comprehensive oral care treatment for over 55 years. We believe in using modern day technology and old fashioned care in order to provide our patients with the best treatment possible.
